From ancient cities to medieval castles, from mighty rivers to pristine lakes, to the glittering waters of the Mediterranean, Europe is as unique as it is diverse. And if you adopt flightless travel you can explore the off-the-beaten-path destinations not served by an airport, and truly get under the continent's skin.
